CYCLONES EYE THIRD STRAIGHT WIN AS NATIONALS VISIT LISTOWEL

LISTOWEL, ONT. — The Listowel Cyclones will look for their third straight victory tonight when the London Nationals visit Steve Kerr Memorial Complex. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Cyclones enter their first game of October with a 2–1–2 record following a 7–0 road win over the Sarnia Legionnaires on Sept. 26. They have earned points in four of their first five games, including each of their three home appearances.

Tonight’s matchup brings together two teams separated by a single point in the Western Conference. Listowel has six points to London’s seven and has played two fewer games. A regulation win would move the Cyclones ahead of the Nationals.

Shayne Keefe leads Listowel with three goals and five assists for eight points, followed by Heath Bradley’s four goals and three assists for seven. Roman Shtefan and Aidan Renaud have five points apiece, while Lyndon Cabral has added four.

The Cyclones have scored 23 goals through five games, with special teams contributing at both ends of the ice. Their power play has converted five of 16 opportunities for a 31.3 per cent success rate, while the penalty kill has allowed just two goals on 20 chances, operating at 90 per cent.

Join us at Steve Kerr Memorial Complex tonight for Cyclones hockey. Tickets are available at the door, with cash and debit accepted.
