Listowel, ONT. – The Listowel Cyclones are proud to congratulate eight players who attended training camps held by their respective Ontario Hockey League clubs last week.
The following Cyclones participated in OHL training camps:
- Ryan Cranny – Windsor Spitfires
- Thomas Paleczny – Barrie Colts
- Clark DeBoer – Sarnia Sting
- Shayne Keefe – Sarnia Sting
- Roman Shtefan – Barrie Colts
- Lyndon Cabral – Erie Otters
- Ewan Muzzell – Owen Sound Attack
- Will Kueneman – London Knights
The Greater Ontario Hockey League serves as the official development league of the OHL, providing players with an important pathway toward the major-junior level. These training camps allowed the eight Cyclones to compete within their respective OHL organizations and experience the preparation, pace and professionalism demanded at the next level.
Listowel was represented within six OHL organizations. Paleczny and Shtefan attended training camp with the Barrie Colts, while DeBoer and Keefe took part in Sarnia Sting camp. Cranny joined the Windsor Spitfires, Cabral attended with the Erie Otters, Muzzell participated with the Owen Sound Attack and Kueneman was at London Knights camp.
Taking part in an OHL training camp is an important achievement. Players compete alongside returning OHL talent and other highly regarded prospects while receiving valuable instruction and an opportunity to demonstrate their development.
Having eight players participate reflects positively on the commitment of the players, their families, coaches and everyone who has contributed to their development within the Cyclones organization.
The Listowel Cyclones congratulate Ryan, Thomas, Clark, Shayne, Roman, Lyndon, Ewan and Will on representing the organization proudly at their respective OHL training camps.
