LISTOWEL, ONT. — The Listowel Cyclones have acquired defenceman Victor Moody from the St. Thomas Stars, adding junior experience to their blue line for the 2026–27 GOHL season.
The 2007-born defenceman from Oakville, Ont., recorded two goals and six assists for eight points in 43 regular-season games with the Stars in 2025–26. He arrives in Listowel with a full season of experience against GOHL competition.
Moody has already contributed to a Cyclones victory. He assisted on Roman Shtefan’s opening goal in Listowel’s 5–1 win over the Strathroy Rockets on September 25 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex. The goal began a stretch of three Listowel goals in 19 seconds, helping the Cyclones secure their first win of the season.
Before advancing to junior hockey, Moody spent the 2024–25 campaign with the Oakville Rangers U18 AAA program. He scored twice and added three assists for five points in 33 regular-season games, followed by three playoff appearances.
He previously played for the Niagara North Stars U18 AAA team in 2023–24, recording two assists in 34 regular-season games and appearing in eight postseason contests.
Moody’s development also included the Credit River Capitals U16 AAA program, where he registered eight assists in 36 games during the 2022–23 season. He added eight playoff appearances and played one game with the Capitals’ U18 team that year. His earlier AAA experience included the Brampton 45’s U15 program in 2021–22.
The Listowel Cyclones welcome Victor and his family to the organization.
