LISTOWEL CYCLONES EARN THIRD STRAIGHT WIN WITH 6–3 VICTORY OVER THE CALEDON BOMBERS

Listowel, Ont- In a rare Sunday afternoon matchup at the Steve Kerr Memorial Arena, the Listowel Cyclones extended their winning streak to three games with a decisive 6–3 victory over the Caledon Bombers. Puck drop, originally scheduled for 2:00 p.m., was delayed by 15 minutes due to deteriorating weather conditions across the region. With safety as the organization’s top priority, officials ensured that all players, staff, and spectators were able to arrive safely before the game began.

FIRST PERIOD – SPECIAL TEAMS SET THE TONE

Listowel wasted no time asserting control, capitalizing on early power-play opportunities.
Ryan Cranny opened the scoring on the man advantage, finishing a clean setup from Clark deBoer and Dylan Szymanowski to give the Cyclones the early lead. Minutes later, the power play struck again—this time with Ethan Fischer finding the back of the net at 6:23. Cranny and deBoer drew assists on the play, sending Listowel into the intermission with strong momentum and a 2–0 cushion.

SECOND PERIOD – CYCLONES CONTINUE TO PRESS

The Cyclones continued their disciplined, structured play in the second frame.
Lyndon Cabral added to the lead on yet another power-play opportunity, finishing a crisp passing sequence from Colton Henderson and Hudson Wiles. Caledon responded with a goal of their own, but Cabral answered right back at 8:02, restoring Listowel’s multi-goal advantage.

Later in the period, Trenton Harris extended the lead even further, converting off a clean breakout with support from Noah Vandenberg. After 40 minutes, the Cyclones skated off with a commanding 5–1 lead built on speed, puck control, and special-teams excellence.

THIRD PERIOD – HOLDING STRONG

The Bombers generated pushback in the third, scoring twice to narrow the gap. But the final word of the night belonged to Lyndon Cabral, who sealed the game with an empty-net marker—his 10th goal of the season—to cement the 6–3 victory.

Between the pipes, Ethan Kowatch delivered a standout performance, turning aside 36 shots and providing steady, composed goaltending throughout the afternoon.
